Here I'm at a youth hostel near our school, waiting for moving into an apt. We had a house-hunting talk yesterday at the school. So complicated but lucky I don't need to worry about the hunting things. Not the first time being at Tisch, but first time with new classmates. One guy comes from (er forget how to spell Cororado ) the state of the grand canyon of US arrived at midnight the day before, and came into the meeting room with eyes half shut. The lecturer said you have to pay attention to the time when the condo/ HDB was built, for you may encounter very very old building such as those 1980s ones. Several guys from New York said at the same time: "1980s! That's pretty new!!!" See, this is the construction difference between New York and Singapore. See, science fiction~~~~~ DVD library. :) Yesterday evening, we six students watched a DVD of Oscar Nominated Shorts Collection at Qiao's place. "The Danish Poet" is among the best! So so cute. You should definitely have a look. Another one impressed me a lot is made in Jerusalum (sorry for my wrong spelling), like a musical, filled with fantastic singing. So funny. However those very bad ones deserved our bloody critics~totally don't know what they are talking about. There's going to be a Short Cuts Screening Week in the national museum from 15th. So, we always have fun before the new semester begins.
